My Life's Work...

A couple of days ago, I stood among the work of the ten years of my life, in a room being prepared to exhibit 50 paintings of the Savior's life. It was overwhelming what I felt. Countless memories came to mind of the people and the stories that were involved in creating these paintings and the immense gratitude that overtook me. I am not sure words can adequatedly express how I felt that day as I stood alone in that room. I don't know how talents are passed out, or what promises we make in regards to how we will use them, but I hope that my Heavenly Father and his Son are pleased with the efforts and the results that have been created these past few years and the many hands and hearts that have contributed.

  3. Liz,
I know you work with very talented people, being very talented yourself, but I had to contact you and see if you'd be interested or willing to allow me to offer my skills as a professional photographer, free from charge, when working to create scenes of Christ for your paintings.
Or if not, perhaps you would allow me to accompany your team on a photo shoot as a 2nd camera.
I've recently been wanting to offer up my talents from gratitude in service, much like the way you described.
    Thank you for considering it.

  4. Liz, I have a friend who looks just like Christ. People tell him that all the time. He lives in St. George but is up in SLC now on vacation. I think he would be a great model for you! Please email me if you are interested in how to contact him.

    Thanks!!

  5. I first saw your work when on display in the Washington DC Visitor's Center years ago. I remember the Temple grounds being beautiful but I remember how I felt when I looked at your beautiful work even more.

I had the privilege of hearing you speak in Concord, CA years ago as well. I am a fan. What a talent you have been given and then cultivated for the good of all. I know Our Father and His Son are pleased because your work touches hearts and increases faith. Thank you, Liz!

  7. I love your paintings and we as a Relief Society presidency would like to make some ornaments for our sisters out of "She Shall Bring Forth a Son". This consists of printing the picture on vellum (a clear paper) and sticking it inside of a glass ball. Can I get your permission to print this image? We want to put them together soon, so I need your reply by next Saturday.

  12. Hi

I am the Chairperson for the Africa Southeast Area website, africase.lds.org. We are going to feature an article about the man who modelled for you in Zambia. May we please have your permission to use on the website the painting you did at that time? If you are agreeable, please email me at collette@burgoyne.co.za. Thank you.
